Actress Cristine Reyes apologized for her behavior during her appearance on “It’s Showtime” last Saturday and on “Gandang Gabi Vice” on Sunday night.

The 24-year-old actress received criticisms on Twitter for her behavior, which she herself described as “maharot.”

“Sorry kasi minsan lumalabas talaga ‘yung pag-magaslaw at pagkamalikot kaya behave ako ngayon. Excited lang din. Hindi naman kasi ako sanay kaya may tension lang,” Reyes explained.

“‘Yung sa ‘Gandag Gabi Vice’ normal lang naman ako doon. Sa ‘It’s Showtime’ medyo tense, maaga, tapos live, tapos maraming audience. Dapat perfect ka doon dahil live ‘yon kaya medyo tense ako,”

Cristine Reyes apologizes for her behavior in 'Showtime,' says she's not drunk

CRISTINE: “Hindi naman ako (nakainom), I’m perfectly normal.”

Reyes was also lambasted for saying on “Gandang Gabi Vice” that her recent breakup with actor Derek Ramsay was for “press release” only. She also denied that she was drunk at the time.

“Joke lang ‘yon. Hindi kasi sanay ‘yung tao na nakikita nila ako na as me, Cristine Reyes, na ako talaga. Hindi alam ng tao na playful talaga ako at mapagbiro. Kung alam lang nila kung gaano ako ka-kikay, actually tamed pa ‘yung sa TV,” she said.

“Kunwari sa ‘It’s Showtime,’ sa ‘GGV’ at ‘Buzz Ng Bayan,’ kasi kampante ako kila Tito Boy Abunda, Ate Mina (Villaroel) at Ate Janice (de Belen) kasi kilala nila ako since bata pa ako. Hindi naman ako (nakainom), I’m perfectly normal,” she added.

However, Reyes stressed that she and Ramsay remain to be best friends even until this day. Unlike other women, she said she prefers to be friends with her exes.

“Siguro magandang part ay na-maintain ‘yung friendship sa lahat,” she said.

‘Bad Girl of Showbiz’

In the interview, Reyes also reacted to comments that she is “the bad girl of show business.”

“I don’t mind, bad girl, good girl, I don’t mind. At least may title,” she said.

“Hindi ko tinitignan siya as negative kasi medyo astig ako na tao. Gusto ko nga ‘yung title na bad girl pero mukhang sinasabi nila eh good girl na ako,” Reyes continued.

Also, the actress emphasized that she isn’t a “playgirl,” as some quarters insist.

“Hindi naman. Kasi hindi naman lahat ay nagiging boyfriend ko,” she said.

With her newest project “Honesto,” Reyes is hoping fans would finally see her as a “good girl.”

“Minsan kasi ang isang tao kapag sobra nilang pinapanood ang isang artista, tingin nila kung ano ‘yung
pino-portray na role ay ‘yun siya. Ngayon sa ‘Honesto,’ baka magbago ang perception nila and all. So tignan natin. … Kaya siguro nilagay ako sa show kasi honest na honest ako,” she said.

“Para po sa inyo magpapaka-good girl ako para sa show na ito, para sa ABS-CBN at ayaw ko silang i-fail,” she added.

“Honesto” airs weeknights after “TV Patrol.”

Reyes is part of Viva’s grandest movie event of the year “When The Love Is Gone” in celebration of its 32nd anniversary. The movie also features Gabby Concepcion, Andi Eigenmann, Jake Cuenca and Alice Dixon.
